Pilates Mat & Small Equipment Group Classes
Pilates Mat & Small Equipment incorporates exercises done on a mat using your body weight and a variety of small props such as:
•Balls (all sizes)
Classes are never the same and every class is different and full of variety. Classes are offered in groups with a maximum of only 8 people. The focus is a full body workout, whilst ensuring that the principles of pilates is adhered to. Our workouts are designed to emphasize the correct biomechanics of movement to increase strength, flexibility, stamina, posture and dynamic stability.
Our requirements are that you do an orientation class (which is a private class) before joining a group class, so that we can teach you the basic movements of pilates together with correct body alignment, breathing and muscle engagement. Instructors are trained by Pilates Dynamics and therefore HIGHLY QUALIFIED to deal with your needs.
Pilates Large Equipment Group Classes
The Pilates Large equipment is made up of:
•Ladder & Arc Barrels
•Including a variety of small equipment - as indicated under Mat & Small Equipment above
There are thousands of exercises that can be done on these machines and the options are limitless. The result of the workout is a uniformly developed body with strong back and abdominal muscles, offering a full body workout.
Classes are offered in groups of only 5 people per class. Class emphasis is on the rhythmic, flowing sets of movements which increase strength, flexibility and stamina while also improving alignment, balance co-ordination and tone. Instructors are trained by Pilates Dynamics and therefore HIGHLY QUALIFIED to deal with your needs.

Pilates is not to be under-estimated. Workouts in groups are fun, but also very hard work.
