Pilates Dynamics Internationally Recognized and Certified Pilates Teacher Training Courses for 2020

Which Pilates courses does Pilates Dynamics offer?

1. Pilates Mat & Small Equipment Course;

2. Pilates Large Equipment Course (and Small Equipment); and

3. Pilates Comprehensive Course (Pilates Mat; Small & Large Equipment)

A pre-requisite for the Large Equipment Course, is the Mat Pilates Qualification.

 

When do the Pilates courses start?

The Pilates Teacher Training Courses start on the 8th February 2020.

 

What is covered in the 3 Pilates teacher training courses?

The Training Programs entail the following:

1. Pilates Mat & Small Equipment Course, which covers: 

• Mat exercises from basic to Advance level

• History of Pilates

• Code of Ethics & Practice

• Guideline for Teaching and Professionalism

• Anatomy

• Posture Patterns

• Injuries & Pathologies

• Exercise Indications & Contra-indications

• Exercise Adaption (Variations & Modifications)

• Muscle and Exercise Goal description per exercise

• Various use of Props (Small equipment) which includes Trampolines, Bosu’s, TRX, and Ballet Barre

• Construction of Programs

• Teaching and Cueing Skills

2. Pilates Large Equipment Course (including Small Equipment), which covers:

• Large equipment exercises from Basic to Advanced Levels: a) Reformer; b) Cadillac & Tower; c) Chair; d) Ladder Barrel; and Arc Barrels

• Various use of Props (Small equipment) which includes Trampolines, Bosu’s, TRX, and Ballet Barre

• Muscle Imbalances

• Faulty Movement Patterns

• Neuromuscular re-education

• Exercise Indications & Contra-indications

• Injury and Pathologies

• Exercise Adaption (Variations & Modifications)

• Muscle and Goal description per exercise; and

• Construction of Programs

3. Pilates Comprehensive Course (Pilates Mat; Small & Large Equipment), covers:

This training program entails everything mentioned under 1) and 2) above. It is a combination of the Pilates Mat & Large and Small Pilates Equipment.

 

How does the Pilates Dynamics courses run and how many hours are needed to complete the Pilates teacher courses?

Course lectures:

Lectures run over weekends on Saturdays and Sundays –approximately 1 weekend every 3 or 4 weeks

Course hours:

1. Pilates Mat & Small Equipment = a total of 100 hours, including lecture hours

2. Pilates Large Equipment = a total of 350 hours, including lecture hours

3. Pilates Comprehensive Course (Mat, Small & Large Equipment) = a total of 450 hours, including lecture hours

 

How long will it take to complete the courses?

Courses are done in your own time and you decide how soon you want to complete the course. Completion depends on how quickly you are able to complete the practical hours. Generally, the Pilates Mat and Small Equipment course will take about 3 to 5 months to complete the course. The Comprehensive course will take around 6 to 9 months to complete.

 

Can I start the course at any time of the year or are there set starting dates and times?

Group lectures: There are set group lecture dates. Practical hours are done in your own time.

Private lectures: Courses can start anytime of the year. Lectures are arranged between yourself and a lecturer on dates and times that suit yourself and that of the lecturer. Practical hours are done in your own time.

 

What will it cost to do the Pilates Dynamics Teacher Training Courses?

We have a range of course price payment options, such as:

• Once-off Payment upfront

• Payment of a Deposit and monthly payments thereafter; or

• Should you not be able to make any of the set monthly payments, please contact us to make alternative monthly re-payment arrangements that you are able to afford.

Are there any discounts or early bird specials on offer?

The early bird specials are:

First group Course Intake starting 8 February 2020:

Register and pay the Once-off Fee before the 13th December 2019 and get 10% off your tuition fees.

Second group Course Intake starting 10 July 2020:

Register and pay the Once-off Fee before the 31st May 2020 and get 10% off your tuition fees.

 

Are there any discounts if I decide to continue to do the Pilates Large Equipment course (in order to become Comprehensively qualified) once I have completed and passed the Pilates Mat Course?

Should one of our current Mat students decide to continue with the Equipment section in the same year that the Certified Mat Work course has been completed, a discount of 15% will apply on the current Equipment Course Price!!

 

Are the courses Internationally recognized?

• Our courses are internationally recognized and you will receive a certificate upon completion and passing of the exams.

• Our courses are in line with the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) which is a non-profit professional pilates body that ensures that pilates standards are upheld.

• Our courses are endorsed by REPSSA (The Register of Exercise Professionals of South Africa) and courses have been allocated CPD points (Continuing Professional Development points).

• Our course are approved and aligned with the Pilates Education Institute in the U.S.A., and the programs are offered in various different countries world-wide.

• Our course is also in line with the PEA (Pilates Education Association) in the U.S.A. which is a non-profit international Pilates body that ensures that international standards are maintained and upheld.
