What is Barre?
Barre is a Ballet inspired form of fitness, incorporating a mix of elements like Ballet postures and movements, Pilates, dance, yoga and functional training, and the moves are choreographed to music. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements it is an energizing and targeted workout to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body.

This workshop focuses on:
– Barre form:
(Postures and Movements) Good posture has a number of health benefits; it can improve your breathing, boost circulation, and minimize joint decay, improve your alignment and gain greater awareness of your body.)
– Muscle focus and objectives:
(A barre workout targets muscles that are often neglected, like the ones close to your bones that support your body and help with stability. It involves smaller, specific muscle contractions or isometric exercises that focus on strengthening a specific muscle group while the rest of the body stays still. With isometric exercises, you get the right muscles working without furthering pressuring your joints.)
