Which Pilates courses does Pilates Dynamics offer?
1) Pilates Mat & Small Equipment Course (Mat Exercises and a variety of Small Equipment including the TRX, Bosus, Ballet Barre etc.,);
2) Pilates Large Equipment Course (Pilates Reformer; Wunda Chair; Pilates Cadillac/Tower; and Pilates Ladder Barrel and all Small Equipment);
3) Pilates Comprehensive Course (Pilates Mat and Pilates Reformer; Wunda Chair; Pilates Cadillac/Tower; and Pilates Ladder Barrel; Pilates Arc Barrels – with all Small & Large Equipment);
4) Pilates Intensive Reformer Course (Pilates Reformer and Small Equipment)
A pre-requisite for number 2 above – the Large Equipment Course – is the Pilates Mat Qualification.

The Pilates Teacher Training Courses start on the 21ST of February 2025.
What is covered in the 3 Pilates Teacher Training Courses?
The Training Programs entail the following:-
• Mat exercises from basic to Advance level;
• Pilates Large Machines (Pilates Reformers; Pilates Cadillac/Pilates Tower; Pilate Wunda Chair; Pilates Ladder Barrel; Pilates Arc Barrels);
• History of Pilates;
• Code of Ethics & Practice;
• Guideline for Teaching and Professionalism;
• Anatomy;
• Faulty Posture Patterns;
• Injuries & Pathologies;
• Exercise Indications & Contra-indications;
• Exercise Adaption (Variations & Modifications – with and without the use of Props);
• Muscle and Exercise Goal description per exercise;
• Various use of Props (Small equipment) which includes Trampolines, Bosu’s, TRX, and Ballet Barre;
• Construction of Programs; and
• Teaching and Cueing Skills
How do the Pilates Dynamics courses run and how many hours are needed to complete the Pilates teacher training courses?
• Course Lectures: Lectures run over weekends on Saturdays and Sundays –approximately 1 weekend every 3 or 4 weeks, depending on which course you register for.
• Course Practical hours:
1) Pilates Mat & Small Equipment = a total of 70 hours.
2) Pilates Large Equipment = a total of 306 hours.
3) Pilates Comprehensive Course (Mat, Small & Large Equipment) = a total of 388 hours.
4) Pilates Intensive Reformer = a total of 74 hours.
How long will it take to complete the courses?
Courses are done in your own time and you decide how soon you want to complete the course. Completion depends on how quickly you are able to complete the practical hours. Generally, the Pilates Mat and Small Equipment course will take about 3 to 5 months to complete the course. However, you have a year within which to complete the course.
The Comprehensive course will take around 6 to 9 months to complete. However you have a year and a half to complete the course.
Can I start the course at any time of the year or are there set starting dates and times?
Group lectures: There are set group lecture dates. Practical hours are done in your own time.
Private lectures: Courses can start anytime of the year. Lecture dates and times are arranged between yourself and a lecturer on dates and times that suit yourself and that of the lecturer. Practical hours are done in your own time.
What will it cost to do the Pilates Dynamics Teacher Training Courses?

• Payment of a Deposit and monthly payments thereafter; or

Are there any discounts if I decide to continue to do the Pilates Large Equipment course (in order to become Comprehensively qualified) once I have completed and passed the Pilates Mat Course?
Should one of our current Mat students decide to continue with the Equipment section in the same year that the Certified Mat Work course has been completed, a discount of 15% will apply on the current Equipment Course Price!!
