What is Pilates and how is it different from Yoga?
Pilates and Yoga, while both low-impact exercises, differ in their primary focus, techniques, and origin. Pilates emphasizes core strength, postural correction, muscle toning, balance, and controlled movements for body control, body awareness and flexibility, while yoga focuses on flexibility, balance, and mindfulness, often with spiritual and mental benefits. Every Pilates Class is a full-body workout. Pilates is also a method often used by Bio kineticists and Physiotherapists for rehabilitation.

Origin: Ancient practice with roots in India, incorporating physical, mental, and spiritual exercises.
Breathing: Uses various breathing techniques to calm the mind and energize the body.
Equipment: Uses less equipment than Pilates, often just a mat and sometimes props like blocks and straps.
