The Pilates Dynamics Internationally Recognised and Certified Teacher Training Program is led by a group of senior, highly trained instructors with exposure both nationally and internationally.

- Pilates Conversion Course (this course is for Pilates Instructors who have done their Pilates Mat qualification and is now ready convert their Pilates Mat qualification into a Pilates Comprehensive qualification. - Pilates Comprehensive Course (this is a combination of the Pilates Mat & Small Equipment together with all the Large Equipment like the Reformer; Cadillac/Towers; Wunda Chair; and Ladder Barrel)
The Pilates MAT Teacher Training Course
We offer an in-depth Pilates Mat course. Learn Mat Pilates exercises (levels 1, 2 and 3) – classical repertoire and contemporary approaches – as well as Anatomy; Faulty Posture Patterns; Injuries & Pathologies; Exercise Recommendations and Contra-indications; Exercise Adaption (Variations and Modifications); Pregnancy; Muscle and Goal description per exercise; Various use of all Equipment; Program Flow & Examples; and Teaching and Cueing Skills.
The course is structured with lectures to begin with, followed by 76 practical hours divided up into:
- self-practise hours;
- class/client observation hours; and finally
- client teacher training hours.
Practical hours can be done in your own home or in a studio environment. Our studio is available at no extra cost. If you select to do your self-practise and teacher training hours at your house or at your friends or family members’ house, or at a studio, all you have to do is to record the hour and send us the screenshot of the video recording at the end, as proof of self-practise or teacher training. Observation hours can be done online via our studio or come to the studio if you want.
The Pilates Mat & Intensive Reformer Combination course:
The Pilates Mat & Intensive Reformer course will follow the above process for your Mat Pilates section, after which we move across to the Intensive Reformer section. For the Reformer section you will learn Level 1; Level 2; and Level 3 Reformer exercises and learn more about variations and modifications as well as postural corrections with injuries and pathologies.
The Reformer can be used for Athletic training as well as Rehabilitation training and is an ideal machine for the above population groups and everyone in between. There is almost not a studio that does not offer Reformer training today, therefor doing you Pilates Reformer training in addition to your Pilates Mat training is an absolute must.
The Reformer section of the Pilates Mat & Reformer combination course is structured with Pilates Mat lectures to begin with, followed by the Pilates Reformer practical hours, which totals an amount of 162 hours divided up into:
- self-practise hours;
- class/client observation hours; and finally
- client teacher training hours.
Practical hours can be done in your own home (if you have a reformer at home) or in a studio environment. Our studio is available at no extra cost. The Pilates Conversion Course (Pilates Large Equipment course)
A pre-requisite for this course is that you need to have the Pilates Mat Course, which you would have done either at Pilates Dynamics or at any other Pilates Academy.
In this course your will learn how to use the Pilates large equipment (Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs, Towers and Barrels and small props). Our courses also cover Anatomy, Movement Analysis, Faulty Postures, Injury Modifications and the Development of training programs.
Being versed in both classical and contemporary Pilates will make you a more versatile and adaptable instructor capable of catering to a broader range of clients and integrating a more comprehensive approach to your teaching.
The Large Equipment Conversion course will enable you to become a Comprehensively qualified Pilates Instructor and enable you to use all the various Pilates machines to train your client on. Our studio has all the various Pilates machines and there are many studios with all the Pilates machines which will improve your employable opportunities both locally and internationally.
This course is structured to begin with the Pilates Reformer, then the Pilates Cadillac, followed by the Pilates Wunda Chair and the Pilates Ladder Barrel and Pilates Arc Barrels, which totals a practical amount of 305 hours divided up into:
- self-practise hours;
- class/client observation hours; and finally
- client teacher training hours.
Practical hours can be done in your own home or studio, provided you have access to all the different machines. Our studio is available at no extra cost. The Pilates Comprehensive Course
This is the FULL COURSE consisting of the 1) Pilates Mat course and small equipment as well as the 3) Pilates Conversion Course (Pilates Large Machines). Obtaining this qualification will qualify you immediately as a fully comprehensively qualified Instructor, putting you a step ahead of any other Pilates Instructor.
This course is structured to begin with the Pilates Mat and Small Equipment Course, followed by the Pilates Reformer, the Pilates Cadillac, the Pilates Wunda Chair and the Pilates Ladder Barrel and Pilates Arc Barrels, which totals an amount of 387 hours divided up into:
- self-practise hours;
- class/client observation hours; and finally
- client teacher training hours.
Practical hours can be done in your own home or studio, provided you have access to all the different machines. Our studio is available at no extra cost. Are there any other requirements to signing up for Pilates Courses:
Yes, you need to be passionate about teaching and movement and you need to be committed. We can give you all the tools, but the commitment needs to come from you.
We also suggest that you sign up for Pilates Classes, whether with us or somewhere else closest to you. This is important for your self-learning and motivation as well as understanding the work and preparing for the exams.
